Keigo Nozaki

At the age of 15, I moved from my home country Japan to Canada, to study at Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Upon graduation, I started working professionally in Germany and from there on, I’ve worked in neo-classical and contemporary dance companies in Japan, Canada and Singapore. In Singapore alongside being a dancer, I was appointed as a rehearsal director to assist and manage the rehearsals and performances. Next to dancing, I have also been a certified yoga teacher since 2020.

At Balletschool La Danse, I teach classical ballet and modern lessons to teenagers and adults, as well as aspiring dancers of vooropleiding. In my class, my aim is to share my experience and knowledge from my dance career and give dancers opportunities to have a broader view in dance.

Aside from teaching dance, I am currently studying physiotherapy at Hanzehogeschool, hoping to treat dancers in the future, as well as using dance as a rehabilitation tool.
